Founding partner of 4S LEGAL, Simine Sheybani has been a member of the Geneva Bar since 2018.
Simine Sheybani practices in the areas of general criminal law and white-collar crime. She regularly represents and advises individuals and companies in matters involving misappropriation of funds, corruption, fraud, money laundering and criminal mismanagement.
She also assists clients in civil litigation, particularly in matters relating to inheritance law.
Simine Sheybani began her career at LALIVE SA, where she specialised in white-collar crime. During her time there, she gained extensive experience in handling complex and sensitive proceedings, including cases with international elements.
She subsequently joined Hayat & Meier, a leading criminal law firm, where she worked first as an associate and later as a partner. There she defended clients in high-profile cases that attracted significant media attention. This experience enabled her to further develop her practice in demanding contexts, both in the field of financial crime and general criminal law.
Her professional career has also led her to become deeply involved in protecting the rights of detained persons, a cause that remains central to her professional commitment.
This commitment, combined with her expertise in complex proceedings, underpins an approach to defence that is rigorous, tenacious, strategic and, above all, deeply human.
She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in law from the University of Geneva, and enriched her training with a year of study at the University of Zurich.
In 2017, she was awarded third prize in the Michel Nançoz oratory competition of the Geneva Bar and, that same year, first prize in the Mario Stasi competition organised by the Paris Bar and the Conference of Bars of OHADA member states.
She is a member of the Geneva Bar Association (ODA) and of the Swiss Bar Association (FSA), and sits on the Commission for Continuing Legal Education of the Geneva Bar Association (Commission de formation permanente de l’Ordre des avocats, Genève).
