Founding partner of 4S LEGAL, Louise Sarasin Steinfels has been a member of the Geneva Bar since 2018.
Louise Sarasin Steinfels practices in criminal law, with a particular focus on white-collar crime, as well as commercial litigation.
She represents individuals and companies in matters involving misappropriation of funds, corruption, fraud, money laundering and criminal mismanagement, and has extensive experience conducting internal investigations, particularly for companies operating in the financial and healthcare sectors. She regularly assists businesses in designing, implementing and continuously adapting their compliance frameworks to evolving regulatory requirements.
She also advises and represents clients in construction law matters.
Louise Sarasin Steinfels began her career at OA Legal before joining Baker McKenzie, where she practised for five years. This experience enabled her to develop recognised expertise in handling complex and sensitive matters, as well as a strategic approach tailored to the circumstances of each case.
She also worked in the litigation department of a bank, which enabled her to gain a practical understanding of the challenges faced by companies and their governing bodies.
Tenacious and committed, Louise Sarasin Steinfels is dedicated to protecting her clients’ interests and developing a strategy aligned with their objectives. Where appropriate and in her clients’ best interests, she seeks to reach negotiated solutions. Where circumstances so require, she does not hesitate to initiate proceedings and to defend her clients’ interests with determination before courts and other authorities.
She holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Law from the University of Fribourg (bilingual programme) and spent one year studying at Stockholm University.
She is a member of the Geneva Bar Association (Ordre des avocats de Genève – ODA) and the Swiss Bar Association (Fédération Suisse des Avocats – FSA).
